Now, I feel a Bear her fight is my fight Diabetes Awareness shirt, but not too much because I’m older. Years ago, it made me very, very sad. I still hate when I see people mistake kindness for weakness in other people. Not me, I’m older and a lot stronger than I used to be. It still surprises me and I’m over 60. All my life and especially in business settings, people assume “nice or kind or polite or fair or neutral” are less than intelligent. Seriously, many times there is very little respect for nice people.

Best Bear her fight is my fight Diabetes Awareness shirt
It used to really hurt my feelings that people could be so rude and Bear her fight is my fight Diabetes Awareness shirt when I had done nothing to deserve it, but being nice is sometimes akin to wearing a “kick me” sign. Mean people see kindness as weakness and you might as well be wearing a big old target on your chest. It was never a conscious thought, I just assumed all people operated this way: I used to treat people the way that I wanted to be treated. It should be second nature to everyone. The few times I did finally blow up at the injustice of someone, I mean really blew and used the F word, it was like some magic cartoon harp music in the background – suddenly those jerks wanted to be my “new best friend”, they couldn’t get enough of wanting to get my input and approval for all kinds of things.
